Due to organizational changes, it became necessary for me to leave the telecommunications industry. In order for me to maintain a comfortable standard of living for my family, it was necessary to make important life changes.
With my daughter leaving for college after a year of retirement, I decided it was time to find something in the business industry that I would love and appreciate just as much as I had in the telecommunications industry.
Five years in the banking industry was interesting communicating and providing support to many clients, but I was missing something. then one day I observed a group of individuals walking in my community that I had not noticed in previous days of sitting on the patio.
There were seven individuals being cared for in the community by resident care assistants. These individuals were “special needs” individuals allowed by the corporate facility to live there. I became involved in the efforts promoted by the company, and was soon asked to join them.
After becoming the supervisor, I found great joy in managing, implementing, and maintaining the needed guidelines and records to support the residents and their resident care assistants. I also found a great deal of fulfillment achieving the needs of the clients (funding, food, clothing, amusement, and entertainment), etc.
From that day forward, I have been involved and accepted the responsibility to care for individuals in the health industry in need of private and personal care.
Yes, I consider the young, the old, and special needs who come into my life very important people. Yes, Passionateassist.com is here. . .
